This was recorded early on, less than a year after my first show, which means it's almost definitely among my first 10 live performances ever. It was my second out-of-town show ever, in a bedroom in Lebanon, IL. This is only about half the full set, but the omitted parts contained either regrettable songs or disastrous performances - and sometimes both.

What survives is a peek into the past, a look at the type of performer and songwriter I was when I first started hitting the stage. None of these songs have been played in quite some time now, almost eleven years later, and in fact I forgot some of them even existed in the first place.

Hopefully you enjoy this sampling of what my live show used to be like, even if filtered to make me look a little bit better than I was.
